Disco 2 GPS antenna hole size

It's 1.5 metres. I've never really tested how far it goes but I only use it for laning and it's more than enough for that. It'd probably be fine with a shorter antenna. One of these. It's taken a beating from a few branches without issue. The website says it needs a 20mm hole but it fits...

Disco 2 GPS antenna hole size

15mm. It's just big enough for a CB mount that's where I have mine fitted.

    Bankzs 110 CSW XS Build

It's doable with a 14mm Mercedes Sprinter injector socket although it's a little bit of a faff. edit: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/153702707493

    Supplier called CarAirSprings - legit??

Granning UK Ltd's registered address is: Unit 1, Westway 21, Chesford Grange, Woolston, Warrington, England, WA1 4SZ which is the same warehouse pictured on CarAirSprings website. https://airsprings.com/en/latest-news/granning-UK-ltd-new-warehouse It could, of course, mean that CarAirSprings...

    Supplier called CarAirSprings - legit??

As mentioned they look to be part of Granning Group, based at the same "New" Warrington warehouse pictured on the website. https://airsprings.com/en/

Disco 2 Xyz switch? Cranks but won’t start.

Check the Fuel Pressure Regulator isn't leaking onto the CPS and/or starter - I had this on my old D2. If it's not then consider rebuilding/replacing the starter, and check the CPS wiring.

Disco 2 Water from sun visors

There was a technical bulletin for water getting in at the top of the A pillars: http://site.lrch.nl/sites/default/files/L8861bu.pdf

Buy a Landy, then Breakdown Cover!

I'm with the RAC because they have no limit on the age of the car for personal cover. I was impressed the once I've needed them though.

    Discovery II - Tyre Comparison

255/65R16 is one of the standard sizes. I'm on my second get of Grabber AT3s - originally in 255/65R16 and now in 265/60R18. They're M+S and 3PMS rated. I don't find them noisy even at 70. They grip well in mud, snow and on the road. Can even throw the car around a bit without issue.

Disco 2 Discovery 2 fuel leak (Drivers side of fuel tank) - Only when running

It'll be the green pipe on top of the tank. Rubs against the loom. Can be bought on its own, fairly easy to replace.

    Discovery 2 maf delete

Check the drain on the bottom of the airbox and seal it up, also the flexible pipe between the airbox and the wing.

    Discovery 2 maf delete

Indeed it's not. But if he's getting the air filter wet at all while wading then he's got other stuff he should be looking at before removing the MAF.

    Discovery 2 maf delete

How do you get the MAF wet while laning? Are you sure that's the problem?

    Discovery 2 footwell leak

A Disco 2 TD5 is in band K, so it's £415 next year compared to £395 this year. Band K includes cars over 225g/km registered before 23rd March 2006.

    Disco 2 Fuel leak

Is there diesel all over the passenger side of the tank or chassis too?

    Disco 2 Fuel leak

Tank looks damp - could be the green pipe on top.

    Disco 2 air 2” lift

The 2" extended airbags come with the plates for the ride height sensors - that's what the brackets with the 3 holes in are in the photo above . They're simple to fit.

    Solo trails/Green Lanes?

Worcs and Shropshire have plenty and aren't that far away. Go a little further and you've got Wales, Leics, Northants etc. GLASS are fairly on top of the updates so Trailwise is usually up to date whether a lane is shut or not. Shropshire's decent for easy non-damaging lanes with plenty of...

Are the interior lights working? I had this on my last D2 and it was fuse F20 on the interior fuseboard.

    Green lanes in Hampshire

It's well known for being out of date these days, it's missing UCRs and it just shows where the byways are and not if they're closed or have any restrictions on them. As noted, just because it's a byway doesn't mean it's legally driveable. If you want accurate either join the Green Lane...
