    P38A Jump Lead Connectors

Hi all, Has anybody come across jump leads with the sort of connectors in the attached image? Or better still does anybody know where I could get a set of these connectors/plugs? Cheers.

    P38A Front Prop died!

As I said in the beginning of this topic, the front prop parted ways with the TB and was removed the following Monday. Now I have to wait for the new prop to arrive from the UK. Oh I intend to. Having the Beast out of action is annoying at the best of times, let alone during holidays!

    P38A Front Prop died!

I know you are and I appreciate it. All I have said is that due to the location and situation I am in at the moment I have not been able to do what you and a few others have advised. On top of that I have also said that, until only yesterday, I was misunderstanding the comment of the VCU being...

    P38A Front Prop died!

I think it is you Wammers that is missing my point, or at the very least you are either not reading or understanding what I have said! As I said "Ah ok, so me bad. By being seized I thought that they meant that it would not even move, which in turn made sense of sorts to why the propshaft ripped...

And as I said above (below)... ...hence the flick.

#wammers, need I say more! LoL

    P38A Front Prop died!

Ah ok, so me bad. By being seized I thought that they meant that it would not even move, which in turn made sense of sorts to why the propshaft ripped itself off, if you get my gist. Especially as it was during very "gentle" manoeuvres, ie: gently pulling onto an empty roundabout... BANG. Mind...

    P38A Front Prop died!

Well Dude, by what has been said, the VC can be tested without the front prop in situ: Now as I tried to do what these two gentlemen suggested but failed due to location and situation I thought the next best thing would be to move the Beast forward and backwards a short way to see at least if...

    P38A Front Prop died!

Mark, uh, if you had read my original post... ... you would see I could not do that. Uh Wammers, prop? Uh, where? Look at the video again.

Right, as they say, Necessity is the mother of invention. Fingers crossed, I think my VC is working. I managed to do the attached video just now, is it working?

Are you saying that if the VC was ok I would not be able to drive at all without the front prop in place?

    P38A Front Prop died!

As I said above, my front drive-shaft/propshaft decided to part ways with the transfer box. As to wether is was the UJ or the flange, by what I saw after the mech removed it, I would take a guess it was at the UJ join. The two holes where the UJ seats were no longer holes, more like "C"s. They...

    P38A Front Prop died!

Hi there, Last Saturday, luckily on a roundabout, my front drive-shaft decided to part ways with the transfer box. Made a bit of noise too. Now my question is what might have caused it. My main train of thought leads me to the Viscous Coupling in the transfer box, but at the mo I cannot get to...

    P38A Strange clicking sound

Almost, I found that the + connector is split where the vertical tightening bolt runs through. So tomorrow going to get a new connector, but with a horizontal tightening bolt (if that will do).

    P38A Strange clicking sound

Right, the plot thickens. Just checked all the fuses, both in the cabin and under the bonnet along with the relays, all in order there. Then I had a look at all the connections into the BECM and all ok. Now, a few things: When I unlocked the drive's door with the key both front doors unlocked...

    P38A Strange clicking sound

Something odd has just happened. Got into the beast, turned the key to start her up and nowt! At first it seemed that I had a dead battery, but then I heard a click then another click within the cabin. I removed the key and then put it back in the ignition and tried again. This time the clicking...

Measurements for hole in floor to replace fuel pump

So, does that mean that cutting the access hole/panel to the measurements in the original photo of this post there should not be any danger in accidentally cutting into said brake hoses.

Measurements for hole in floor to replace fuel pump

Thanks Wammers, By any chance, would you know roughly where these brake hoses/pipes run. By that I mean looking at the photo, along which line are they; A-B, B-C, C-D or D-A?

From what year did the brake hoses "change" location?
