Hello all. Update.. Went down a different route as not sure about getting it right with the relay. As the fuel pump is accessed on the rear o/s wheel arch, decided to take Andy,s advice, but further down the line. took the plug connector off the pump and the OUT connector off the fuel filter...

Hi Andy. Can I ask, If I disconnect at the HP pump and turn the Ignition on would that not empty the tank? Stick with me, I am a mechanic numty.

Yes. I believe not many know that they could be buying tyres that have been on the shelf for a good few years and have not much life left! And many Tyre outlets won't tell you so they can get rid of old stock. Cheers

That's the reason I have still got me TD4 03. What do you get that's as good? 115,thou miles, nearly 40 to the old Gallon. Sails through MOT'S with the odd ball joint/ wishbone/ exhuast. No body corrosion . Off road every other week. What's not to like. Cheers..

Hello Nodge68. Will keep an eye out for that. Never thought of ASDA doing oil. I'm told that as long as it meets the spec, as in, the numbers on the rear as well as the front your good to go. The standard set out for the engine. Cheers Nodge.
