Disco 2 TD5 Auto, reversing lamps not working

Watching with interest. I've the same issue and gave up after tracing the fault back to xyz switch although it goes into reverse and display is working ok. Would be less bothered if I didn't have parking sensors that also don't work and I'm sure it's linked to reverse lights not going on.

P38A New to The P38 clan

after years of owning disco's and having an itch for a Range Rover I found myself buying an R reg DSE on a whim. Already spending barrow loads on the suspension, abs and aircon so I also brought a donor. It never rains but it pours. Lol

Help with urgent question regarding air suspension

Are all doors and bonnet shut? Does interior light come on and go off as it should is a good indication.

Have you tried lifting it with the button on the dash? That will raise it a couple of inches. It won't stay there once on the move but it will tell you the compressor is working. If the bags are gone I would expect it to be on its bump stops, and unusual for both to go together.

When you galv a bulkhead, what do you do about getting it to match the body colour?

Disco 2 Is it worth Decating TD5 ??

Any signs apart from a perceived poor performance. Mine does seem a little sluggish. I always put it down to being a 2 ton brick shape vehicle but my brother in laws one same age and mileage just seems a bit more responsive.

Disco 2 Spring a Fuel Leak

It was the pipe with the green connector leaking, found during MOT so went to a place local to me that break D2's only and know them very well so didn't need to drop the tank.

    Disco 2 What Interior LED's?

Highly reccomend some. My D2 came with them fitted by last owner so I can't help with source but they are great. At night it's like daylight inside and in a pitch black car park just blip the key and I can see a few Mtrs around it and aviod those muddy puddles. Lol

    Disco 2 Alarm

You said you are locking the car with the key as this seams more stable regarding the alarm going off, are you then opening with the fob? My understanding is you should open the same way you locked but I could be wrong.

Disco 2 Oil change interval when using full synth and low sulphur diesel?

I always service mine at 6000 mile intervals as do a lot of people I know. The reason I do it is the engine is high mileage now and anything I can do to keep it healthy I will do.

    Disco 2 Blackpool lights

I would charge the battery first as 7v is never gonna turn it over

Disco 2 Spring a Fuel Leak

I had the green (connector colour) pipe wear through and my local D2 parts place replaced it in 20 minutes. He had a few spares as its a common fault.
