Any Classic gurus in North Yorkshire?

Hello all. As per previous posts, my wipers aren't working. Found the fuse - that's fine. Tried removing the access panel to the motor (see if power is getting there), and I couldn't get it off for toffee. So I thought, I'll bleed the brakes one last time (replaced 3 brake lines). Put...

Wipers inop - wiper motor location?

Thanks very much for your help, everyone. I'll get under the bonnet after work tomorrow and remove the screen wash reservoir for better access :) Anyone have an idea if the wipers are fused? And if so, location of fuse? Regards, Stuart.

Wipers inop - wiper motor location?

So is it the two access panels at the rear of the engine bay I need to be getting into or inside the vehicle under the dashboard? Thanks, Stuart. *edit* in answer to your question, I'm getting nothing at all when operating the wiper switch. Doesn't sound like anything is trying to operate.

Wipers inop - wiper motor location?

I didn't know where the motor was! Lol. So under the dash, passenger side? I'll have a look this weekend :) Thanks for the replies, Stuart.

    Windscreen wipers inop

Thanks for the repies, gents. Can't hear a bean, so I am assuming the power isn't getting to the motor. There's no noise at all when operating the wiper stalk, unless you operate wash/wipe then the washers work. Thanks again, Stuart.

Wipers inop - wiper motor location?

Hello all. My wipers aren't working at all, but the 'wash' function does on the stalk. Just had a look under the bonnet to have a look at the wiper motor, and couldn't see it. I could see two access panels; one in each rear corner of the engine bay. Do I need to remove these to gain access to...

    Windscreen wipers inop

Hello mate. Thanks for the reply. Are the relays with the fuses also? I'll have a look in there when I'm next in work.

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Made up and fitted new brake lines. Just need to bleed it now. Then get the wipers working. Then refit the headlining. Then sort the welding. Then adjust the P/S belt. Then MOT it. Then carry out the necessary repairs. Then retest it. THEN drive it :)

    Windscreen wipers inop

Evening all. I have a 1989 Vogue SE and the wipers don't work at all. Can someone please point me in the direction of where to start looking? I can't even see the fuse box... Admittedly, I've not spent a huge amount of time on this fault yet as I've been making up and fitting new brake...

    Speedo and Rev counter inop

Lol. Well I would like to do it sooner, but I am in Scotland this weekend coming, so that pushes it back to the following weekend :( I shouldn't really have bought his classic as it requires/required A LOT more work than I thought and have time for, but I felt sorry for the thing. And it...

    Speedo and Rev counter inop

Cheers mate. I'd assumed it would be a common fault to cause both to fail rather than two seperate faults. Where are the fuses please? I'll see if I can see anything obvious on the alternator. Thanks, Stuart.

    Speedo and Rev counter inop

Hello all. All my auxillary belts are in position and working fine, my fuel gauge and temperature gauge both work fine but my speedo and rev counter are both inoperative. Can anyone point me in the right direction where to start looking? Is there a common problem area? Thanks, Stuart.

    Bleeding V8 EFI brakes

Cheers gents. I've got a '1 man bleeding kit' but it doesn't push the brake fluid through when I open the nipple! If I increase the pressure, it just ****es out of the reservoir cap.
