Where is the reverse light switch situated, is it easy to get to? I have a no reverse light issue too.

The older Defender 200/300s bottom door seal is not much good. The TD5/Puma seal is significantly better. I could take them off and run without, but the draught you get is the whole reason I fitted them in the first place.

How does the quoted power work. Surly 3900watts would fry your battery???

I fitted new doors and bottom seals. Now the doors don't shut without a realy hard slam. The car is a 93 200Tdi. The new (brand new) doors are Puma type. Moving the catch isn't enough to sort it, so I'm going to fit shims to the hinges on the bulkhead. Is this something that is done on the TD5...

Just bought a set these. The part of the spanner or socket that contacts the nut sits on the middle of the flat and does not reach the corners so can round them off.

Not realy the same thing. The ones I'm looking for don't grip the corners of the nut rather than the edges as per normal. In the US they are called Metrinch. They fit imperial and metric. But more importantly they fit rounded off bolts.

Surly there is the injector pump on the engine. The tank pump isn't lifting the fuel at however many bar is needed for the injectors? Val.

Looking for these, what are they called in the UK please. Sofar only finding them in US and Aus.

My TD5 was a Discovery, but still the same engine. Temp was always under half. Fuel pump noise is probably down to an after market lift pump in the fuel tank (not the injector pump at the engine) I fitted an after market one that did this, I just turned up the stereo. Never jerky, but the TD5...

Thinking seriously of getting a cab heater. Even after a rebuild my 200Tdi's heater is woful. But where to put it??? Any issues re off roading and deep water, re exhaust and air intake? Val.

Thanks for the info guys. Im using normal handles from Britpart. Needed to do a bit of filing to get them to fit propperly. The trim piece and the door skin would fit, as the slot for them is too narrow on the britpart handle. I found an ignition and lock set on eBay that are 200/300/td5...

I'm fitting new door handles to the new doors on my 93 200Tdi (the new doors are Puma type). I have recently seen that I can buy a matching ignition and door lock set which uses just one key for all. If I go this route will the replacement barrels fit the standard front and rear door...
