    Engine gone in the old girl so. Thinking of going for something a bit bigger that will slot in without to much hassel. So what are the options if any.

    The lead and software are about £12. Get the emergency kit for around £22. I dont go anywhere without the four valves in the glove box. Around 75PSI will get you around. Do it in 15PSI steps. Dont worry about the bypass loom if you dont mind the dash lookin like an xmas tree.;)

    Piston seal a lot fecked. Get the full 4 part kit on fleebay. Piston ring. Piston cylinder. Small o ring and a must the non return valve. On very close inspection the non return has probably split causing the pump to over run and frying the piston ring and then scoring the cylinder cos the ring...

    Lookin at the photosi think you have stripped it bit to far. Put the motor back together it should be ok. Its the piston and cylinder thats the probem. Change all the parts at that end that come in the kit. The pump shut down and whent into hard fault because it got hot. It will require a reset...

    Sounds like the pump has fried. You need a full kit which should include . Cyinder . O ring . Piston ring and the non return valve . Then you need to reset the eas .

    Or just fit one of those two piece glue together boots packed with grease and then the two jubily clips. Simples ;)
