    Defender injection pump

Thanks for that James, good to know. Knew you couldn’t bleed it like in the good old systems but thought it purged itself. Must have done it by accident in a fit of temper and frustration in the end when it came down to the “right, that’s it, I’m gonna stamp on your pedal till you’re battery’s...

    1981 Defender 110 Door Lock!

Seeing as nobody's having a go at helping you with the door lock I'll give you some options. I'm assuming all the rods and clips are in place (no reason they shouldn't be unless door trim been off and been playing inside). First off get the old wd 40 or similar sprayed on and in the lock...

Opinion requested from the experts here

My first thought, that I dont think has been suggested already, is to find out who the subby is and get a quote from them. You may find its a name thats already been recommended on here. You may also find that your current guy has whacked on a hefty profit margin for himself.

Front calipers gone, check out the state of these pads!

Whassup wi the pads?Aw man, you've taken em out too soon. Your coshh assessment should have thrown up the asbestos risk. Another coupla thousand miles would have seen that risk removed from the equation. Try to be a bit more forward thinking in future.:);)

    Rear door lock not locking

Had that before. Is it working with door open. If so try the keeper to see if its moved slightly. Check it and if looks to have moved adjust it back to where it was.
