hi,is it possible/feasible and what changes do you need to make to increase the gross weight of a defender to above 3.5 ton i am asking because my camper conversion is 2.4 ton just as a box on wheels before kitting the inside and all the stuff we take with us thanks loz

hi,just the 2 of us so no travel seating in the back...pop roof ia 50cm lower than my 6.4 when closed and the truck will fit in a container here is something of interest for you i have no plans as such just whats in my head and the camper book canvas will be ok in cold areas as i am fitting...

My solution to fixing the canvas to the roof, screw and stick 20mm box to a strip of chequer plate then stick to the inside of the roof... I will then fix the canvas to the inside edge of the box with a screwed on ally strip and to the top of the outside of the walls with the same
