Are they interchangeable? There is a left hand drive handle on evilbay which is a lot cheaper than others for obvious reason. As I only need the internals, can't see why they would be different? Did you Dremel the corner with pin off?

The grey flat topped piece with push clip at 9 O'clock which the door lock bar would push into. It has two prongs which go down into the lock cylinder either side of the barrel, one has broken and this means the assembly pops out when you use the lock.

The two pronged metal rotating thingy which goes into the back of the lock and attaches to the rod has broken in half? Dunno how? I might have a go at carefully JB welding it. As the lock pin can't be pushed through I might try a small drill bit.... if the JB doesn't work?

Thought I would see why the P38 won't lock from outside. The plastic bar retainer which goes into the back of the door handle/lock has broken off. Someone has previously tried to fix it with cable tie and washer. I think there is still part of it in the back of the lock. Can these locks be taken...

Going the other way! Over half a tank of diesel and seems a lottery on new sender units anyway. At least with cutting a hatch I can replace without much effort and keep a spare. Not sure why the P38 designers didn't follow the example of everyone else?

Huuuurfookingraaayyyyy! Changed out the leak off pipes and she sprang into life! Didn't even need the external primary pump, considering how cold it is this morning I think the glow plugs are working OK? Previous owner listed them as faulty.... didn't help that the lift tank was knackered and...

Did think leak off pipes, think I still have some pipe. Question was, will fuel pass through the FIP to the injectors with FIP not running, ie pumped from external pump. You can pull fuel through a non working lift pump, trying ascertain if stop/start solenoid is the issue?

No immobiliser messages, it did lock/unlock with fob many moons a go. I have a sync mate but that just comes back with an error and no comms?

Yep, checked all earth connections. It is a mystery as all electrics are good just crank no start... lift pump, injectors and glow plugs not getting the "work yer bastards!" message?
