The bushes are the standard rubber ones the come with the fox 2.0 shocked they not poly bushes, the ones on the arb are poly tho!

Yes I put the original washers back on making sure the curved sides are facing the bush!

I guess what your saying could be a logical one thinking about it, If this is the case I don’t suppose there is much that can be done about it, When I go over speed bumps the thump noise is mainly when I drive off the speed bump when the axle is dropping!

Yes your right but this is a new thumping noise that wasn’t there before!

I have had them both off when replacing the second set of springs I didn’t drive the car without but I did check and double check the bushes were seated correctly and the shocks are solidly in place plus I wouldn’t think being fox at £160 a pop that their at fault! The front I have no problem...

Hi, it’s leaking a rusty coloured oil from the front where the prop shaft attaches, Iv heard you have to mark the nut and flange and count the turns of the nut so nut to crush the bearings when re installed! Is this not correct?

Hi all, I have a defender 90 2.2 puma and have noticed the rear diff is leaking so I have purchased a new seal and flange but not sure how to make sure when fitting that I get the preload correct so not to damage the bearings! Can anyone help the best way to achieve this? Many thanks

Does anyone have any idea which rear pinion flange you need for a 2012 defender 90 2.2? I have the seal part no FTC5258 but not sure which flange I need, nothings very clear on internet!

Nice one pleased you sorted it, I had to change my bump stops last week, even impact driver didn’t work, and trying to hold a poxy 9m spanner on the top is just a joke so had to grind them off in the end!

Did you need an impact driver?

The one I used was a makita took it off no problem!

If you use a compact driver it will spin it straight off, I had the same problem till I got hold of one myself
