one more question - if all is not well - will a discovery front axle fit onto my 90 300tdi?

i struggled with the 14mm spanners and got the prop off, both uv joints on the prop are ok. I did notice just before it all ended badly that there was a big shake on the steering when going round the corner and there was a bit of a knock too... i'm going to attempt to drive it home tomorrow..

today i encountered a big wobble going around a corner, felt like the wheel had come loose, was rolling around all over the place... Question is - looks like the drop arm is fubar, what else should i replace at the same time?

Manged to do some stuff to Dennis today.. Removed middle seat - to be replaced by a console (more stuff i need from LRO show), fitted one RX8 seat - must say its rather nice, and fitted some new sockets and a volt meter that arrived from Amazon today

one side of the outriggers are done, more problems unfortunately - looks like it needs new shock absorber, track rod end and some welding - welding is done, so what should i do - replace all the socks and springs and go for a lift kit - or should i just go for OEM replacement shocks? I need the...

i did wonder that myself, that jack was one of 2 and axel stands, so i reccon i was safe. The problem appears to be where there have been front mudguards after the outriggers as i've had a good look over the chassis and its pretty good - its had the rear cross member changed at some point though..
