I think a little shopping list is in order, steering guard, mainly for peace of mind. Tank protector also for peace of mind. Grounded...

Been a very long time since a played around with CB radios. In my younger years I had one mounted on my push bike. CB was in the car when I bought it and I never used it. Was going to put it in the TD5 but events at home meant it would be easier to take the 300tdi, so yesterday I bought an SWR...

    P38 2.5 Auto.....problem

I currently have wired in another pump. The good thing on the P38 is when the in tank pump fails it doesn't block. This problem is not fuel.

    P38 2.5 Auto.....problem

I am thinking a wire issue to the CPS is most likely. No 4 injector replaced a couple of months ago as it was leaking!!! Have a seperate fuel pump as I also considered the initial problem was fuel supply related.

    P38 2.5 Auto.....problem

New CPS, started eventually, still running at approx 3000rpm, no rev counter, now giving faulty alternator message. Alternator off and reconditioned, started eventually, same again and still have the engine speed sensor fault on the nanocom. Time is a little short this week as wife is away and...

    P38 2.5 Auto.....problem

Well finally got round to getting the nanocom registered and it says fault with engine speed sensor. I guess this is the Crank position sensor that was first suspected. As it is a bank holiday and now raining very hard it can wait until tomorrow. Looks like a hex bolt holding the sensor to the...
