Not a double skin base as far as I can see but has a stone guard which means the metal no the bottom is ultimately double thickness (that may be what you mean). Tom

p.s. equally, if you wouldn't bother painting, that's also an option.

Thanks - was easy to do and problem sorted. I’d not used it for a month and I think fuel had got a bit sticky. Now adding additive as gather that can help. Tom

Weber 34 ich - I got the impression from people’s description that you could just unscrew, clean and out back without draining/removing/rebuilding. Is that correct?

How easy is it to clean idle jets? Can you literally unscrew them and give them a clean and replace? Or do you have to take apart the carb/ drain all full, etc. to do this. Thanks
