    SWB forward facing rear seats

My kids are not at booster stage they are still in big cumbersome car seats. They are 2 and 3 and fanatical about my toys so I want them to be able to enjoy them with me. I’m interested in looking into decent side facing seats though. Basically I’m just after some actual examples of those that...

    SWB forward facing rear seats

Thanks for the advice and help. The reason I want them is to belt the kids car seats in so I will definitely need to fit 3 point seat belts. I guess I could just consider a 109 and have all that already taken care of and not loose out on any load space particularly.

    2a clutch...help please

Cheers for the advice gents I to have an engine Crain so I’ll be doing it all out of the vehicle on an engine stand. All the gear no idea kind of set up! Will probably get hold of a cantering tool, did read though years ago that a broom handle is ideal? In terms of the bigger 9 1/2 instead of...

    2a clutch...help please

Plan to replace the clutch whilst I have the gearbox out. This would be the first clutch that I have had a go on thought so any tips and advice would be really handy. Preferably don’t want to bugger it up, need to get it done properly once! There is a very helpful video on YouTube, a chap...

    Series 2a gearbox

Right plan to do lots over the next coming months to the Landy. Firstly I want to do some repairs to the chassis so yesterday I fetched out the gearbox. Hasn’t been driven for at least four years now, but I remember very occasionally it would almost feel like the gear was stuck and no matter...

    Gearbox crossmember removal

Doesn't that bugger up the inside lip of the roof? Mine is a hard top but I'm going to be stripping it all to do chassis and bulkhead repairs, so hopefully will have a few options for removing engine and gear box. Cheers for the replies though all very helpful. Severely lacking in time and...

    Gearbox crossmember removal

Ha ha what a plonker, some poee won't take any advice. So on a series 2a if I want to get the gearbox out at any point I need to either cut out the x member, take it out through the front with the engine or take out the seat box to fetch it out, right?

    Gearbox crossmember removal

Yeah on a series I typed in Land Rover series cross Member removal and that pinged up on a different forum, suggesting that it's just tight in between the chassis legs? Surely that can't be right. I haven't been. Under my 2a in four years but surely it's welded in right?

    Gearbox crossmember removal

Hi any tried and tested ways of achieving the removal of the gearbox crossmember easily enough? Been reading about spreading the chassis rails slightly apart to help the hitting the crossmember with a lump of wood and lump hammer? Is it not welded in place then? Cheers
