I have a 20 lane trip around the Melton Mowbray area that needs to be explored if you would be up for it. Not sure if it would be within your travel parameters. I have been meaning to get over there for a while now.

Had 5hrs laning around Church Stretton today. Solitude and spectacular views. Just what the doctor ordered. Didn't see another person all day. Had planned going further afield but saving those lanes for Sunday.

If it's the lads I've encountered over there a few times, they are good lads. Usually cars of families. Always in well kitted straight cars. When they get to any lengthy lane they split in half (if it's the same gang)

There's enough on Landranger 137 for a weekend. Have fun

Good plan Buddy. They could cause damage if they did ground out. Better to be safe than sorry. Steve has planned a fairly mild run but it only takes one unseen bump. Lanes may be fairly mild but still interesting and very scenic. Well worth a bit of unbolting

Should be ok but Steve has put a couple of lanes in I haven't done before. If you plan to go laning regular I'd take them off. I've always found them more ornament than use even on my road Disco.
