    Britpart/ lynx- diagnostics

    Have you had time to try out the lynx? If so how do you find it? I live in rural France and as far as I can see for the price and the supposedly excellent package I need to find a reason not to go for it apart from people commenting on the quality of britpart stuff.

    Next time I'm in the UK visiting that part of the country keep an eye out for you. Then again what colour eyes have your cats got because I can't remember from the highway code which colour cats eyes are where on the road, as the French don't have them.

    Thanks, good point and I don't know why I didn't select low range. I need to engage brain first before diff locks and low range next time.

    got a really knacked back, had to go for more comfort. Even with my Parisian cruiser it did a good job of pretending to be a "real" land rover. At least for 5 minutes anyway.

    the fluid levels are fine. Checked them yesterday but the fluid looks a bit old. I have driven it around locally, not more than 10 miles or less than 15 minutes and the system seems to be working ok. A mechanic friend came over yesterday and suggested the liquid change and checking the sensors...

    No, sadly they don't or if they do mines not an es premium as the badge says on the back. that would be about right for me. I looked into this before I bought a D2 and found on one forum that supposedly all of the later models have all the wiring and socket to retro fit already in place...
