anyone on here have a link to a build using one of these engines???? Tempted to offload the 300 for one of these beasts

Guys, As title says really, is this a done thing? Thinking if people are aware where you going and when youll return etc...... also im chatting nice and steady avoiding anything where i could get stuck. Have a hi lift and a winch just in case. What do you think?

What sound proofing did you use if you dont mind me asking?

Ah i love my 300 and tons of character. Hopefully keep preserving it and pass it down to young un one day. Just wondered what a hot heater would feel like and a draught free smooth quiet ride. Just interested to see if they can get it right.

anyone thinking about the new model defender? I know it will never be the same as old but by the time i thought about selling everything for a new def they stopped production! Reakon the new model will be any good?

I recently bought a set of mantec ones, very strong! Going to sell though as have a different rack now

guys, Looking for a workshop manual more comprehensive than a haynes. There is the landrover workshop manual isnt there. Wheres the best place to buy one for my 300 defender? Dont fancy a cd or download as would rather have paper Regards tom

I raptored mine, not to everyones taste but very resistant to damage and stops the drumming effect on big panels etc
