    Drop-down Tailgate - seals?

Hi all, 1985 90 Truck Cab, drop-down tailgate. Looking at the rear of the tub, it has two vertical upstands running close to the back edge, left and right sides that look as if they suit a rubber seal but I can't find any info anywhere about seals fitted to this area. It would make sense as with...

YRM sill p sections and rubbers

Is there a fitting guide on the YRM site for this part? I know they have guides for a lot of their stuff.

    Can anyone identify these?

Thanks Aaron & JM for ID'ing the large piece. The two smaller bits are obviously handed but I have no idea. They definitely came off the 90 during the teardown - no bbq's were harmed during this time!

    Can anyone identify these?

Thanks for your suggestions so far. We could make this into a weekly feature with random parts!

    Can anyone identify these?

Could it be anything to do with the rear tub and the light guards? Where do the lightguards hang from?

    Can anyone identify these?

The corner of the workshop, you know, the corner that gathers all sorts of crap during dissassembly and then you find you can't remember where you took it off from. The bbq is in the other corner.

Outer wing to inner wing - how?

After a frustrating day of one step forward, many more back, can anyone advise how clip #302532 (spire nut) should sit in terms of trying to fix the outer wing skin to the main wing panel? It might be a stupid question but after a long day it's not clear to me at all. And, how many of these...

    300tdi into a 90: Airbox & snorkel question

Bumping this as it's now time for me to actually do this job rather than ponder how (note: yes, this is a verrrry slow rebuild!).

    Robbing scumbags

There is nowhere near enough deterrent in this country to make scumbags think twice about doing this sort of stuff. If owners try to defend what is theirs then suddenly the law wakes up and all hell is unleashed upon them. How screwed up is that? Chop their thieving greasy hands off - could you...

Tick tick tick Bang :( ??

Mine started making like a loud popping/chugging sound from the air box. As stated earlier, it was a valve stem cap that had come off and the rocker arm had a huge amount of free movement. I replaced the cap, set the rocker to the right adjustment and no noise after that.

    Need some help please

So, an update on issue 5 of my list of issues list above: The popping/chugging noise was down to a very loose rocker arm amd missing valve stem cap which I found close by. I guess I failed to properly tighten the adjuster on valve no.5 when I replaced the head...oops! :( Replaced the cap...

I will check this next time I'm up there James and let you know. It might be easier if I can call you when I'm there so I can check things there and then? Hah - I've just seen your pm...great minds and all that!

    Need some help please

An update today: No, neither the diff or output shafts are turning. I have changed the new slave cylinder for another new one today. The clutch pedal now feels good as it should do. However, the following things are now happening: 1. As soon as engine starts there's a rattle of what sounds like...
