    clueless difflock user - Help

Hi all, a silly question maybe, but you learn by asking... 1989 lr 90 standard axels and tranny/gbox. diff locks - when you engage the diff lock, what locks? is it just the central diff? or just the axel diffs? or both??? if both then mine is foocked!! sorry, just been annoying...

    Snow!! - tree collision

hi all, cheers for the comps. yeh springs and shocks all fine, i think. as far as getting this crap on your trucks, i would say several things i have found - you need a +2" lift at least, the articulation is still crap unless you cut out the arches, with mine i havent bothered cos i went for...

    Too Hard Suspension

got pro comp es9000 + 2" with 35" bfg muddies on my truck, they are a nice ride, but i'm told they dont last too well when it comes to the eyes on the rear. + the rod is already rusting! only a year or so old.

    Too Hard Suspension

i would change the shocks, get some nice new aftermarket ones. found my girlfriends landy was very uncomfortable on the road, changed all the shocks to terrefirma standard height with lr standard springs and it made a hell of a difference.

    Snow!! - tree collision

this will make some people laugh... the day before this happened, my girlfriend smashed into the back of me in hers, pictured behind, more cosmetic damage to hers but still drivable!! lol. my advice to anyone when driving behind a landy would be, to make sure nothing can slip off your seat and...

    Snow!! - tree collision

yeh im pretty sure its not all straight. the bumper took the most part of the force i think, then it slid off that and where the tyres sticking out it caught it and pulled it back with what was left of the momentum.

    Snow!! - tree collision

i should probably also say i'm running 35" bfg muddies, with caster corrected radius arms and a 2" lift, i'm guessing giving it a lot more leverage to damage things! :(

    Snow!! - tree collision

nice pic. yeh as i say only the track rod that i can see, but i think the radius arm may have taken a hit. as the offside one where it joins the axel has a gap between it and the axel, the damage side has a smaller gap :(

    Snow!! - tree collision

hi all, advice on collision with tree please... hit it first with corner of front bumper, thats bent right back under the drivers side wing, then i think it caught me wheel, now as far as i can see the only problems/changes are that the steering rod is bent right out of place beyond...

    Tyres and radious arms

get the offset right on the alloys and you can get 265's in there no problems. in fact i have bfg mt's 35" ers on there at the mo with no spacers just big offsets and it turns tighter than as standard!
