    Fitting a hot water shower

Not rude at all, love the comments and suggestions. Keep them coming. It gets me thinking And two minds are definitely better than one. You sound far more exsperianced in this field than I am... Mods can be very exspencive, but I love my Disco, and use it a lot. So don’t mind doing them, plus...

    Fitting a hot water shower

Definitely worth investing. I was thinking of a small holding tank, and circulating the water through the heat exchanger I have already fitted. I could fit a thermostat so it turns on and off when required, via a switch in the cab of course.??

    Fitting a hot water shower

Thank you. That may be worth a look. ? It would have to be 12v as my plan is to fill cylinder / holding tank and heat the water whilst driving.. just before I camp for the night..

    Fitting a hot water shower

I wanted to fit a hot water shower in Matilda, my discovery. First problem was space! Matilda has air con, triple charge, charging systems etc, etc.. I overcome this by fabricating a bracket to mount the heat exchanger on the inner wing, as close to the heater pipes as poss, as this is where I...

I normally bash a screwdriver though them, if all else fails! Never let me down yet.. If toil is on its way, I would probably wait for that..

    Diesel leak

Hi, it's difficult to see from pics, but could you not just put in joining pipe? if you have enough pipe left to get a dubilee clip on, that should do the job..

    Check your wheel nuts

I agree, that’s why I use a torque wrench when I fitted them! Problem is, not even a torque wrench will stop them coming off if there is a problem... but at least with these indicators, you might notice if they come loose??

    Check your wheel nuts

I recently purchased a set of wheel nut pointers.. they are plastic points, fit under each nut with arrows pointing each other. If a nut comes loose you can see, because the pointer moves.. thay use them on lorry’s and hgv vehicles..

    Alarm imobaliser problem

This was my understanding as well, but led is definitely on ! I am wondering if someone has had a go at this before me, and cut in to loom?? I've not had the vehicle long, and don't know it's history. Dash had been taken out before. In fact it he spider bypass had already been done. I did...

    Alarm imobaliser problem

Hi discool, Thanks for your reply. I think the fob, fobs are both past there sell by, to be honest I use the key most of the time. Spider definitely bypassed.. Fob hangs on key, so close to ignition. Get in turn key, nothing, doesn't crank! Pushy left fob button sometimes starts? The red symbol...
