Check what voltage your getting at the starter solenoid, should be 12v in and out. If not 12v I’d suspect Starter solenoid.

Many thanks, I’ll run an earth straight from the dodgy relay and work from there. My light switch on the column is slightly dodgy (makes side lights flicker if touched slightly) so this could be the cause. On the diagram earth comes from light switch to relays and ends there. I’ll post back my...

Ahh, even though the boomslang harness doesn’t state that and doesn’t have extra earth wires? I’ll try that to see if it fixed the issue. Thanks

Thank you for the replies, power is coming direct from the Bty with good earths for each light. Just weird it’s only doing it when the engines running. Time to recheck earths

hello all, Whilst still renovating my 200TDI I’ve added a boomslang headlight harness which has improved the headlights. But there’s a weird issue going on....when the engine and ignition are off I get all lights (side, main, full etc) but when the engine is running all the lights still work...

Tony I believe it’s at the rear of the handbrake lever. My 200TDI doesn’t have one. Jump on the RAVE to confirm where it is. Rich

Right pain the ass - i used a single strip of copper to bridge across. Be careful you dont spend too long on the board or it'll melt. Failing that you can pick them up for about £20 - 30 Rich
