Hello all, My P38 is immobilised - I've tried the EKA routine-worked initially then went back to engine disabled. Tried Mozz's guide without success. Wondering if there is anyone local to Blackwood South wales with the correct equipment who could have a look. Regards Steve

Still no joy-followed Mozz's guide a few times to the letter. Will have a check of these-but it's like they are on a timer-the upper tailgate will unlock as soon as the interior lights time out-the lower tailgate takes a quite a while longer. Perhaps the BeCM is kaput. Steve

after leaving unlocked the lower tailgate now opens-seems to be on a timer. Had this years ago-will try and fix or set alight!

The other unusual thing is that the boot will not open immediately when the doors are unlocked with the key-it takes about 30 seconds to open the top-BUT the bottom will not respond to another press. It seems one press and that's it. Time for an L322 I think or put a tow bar on my 1983...

Just a quickie (I have searched-and had a similar problem years ago)-battery went flat last night-recharged went to start "engine immobilised" entered EKA started but as soon as key taken out same problem again-engine immobilised-press remote. Problem is I've tried entering the EKA code again...

Thanks Martyn, Have the gear may give it a go-have other cars so can take my time-can also put it in my garage. Have done lots of jobs on cars but the only head gasket was a Sherpa 1800! Thanks Steve

Had another look and it appears to e weeping from the head gasket. Will have to get it done-million dollar question-how much? Steve
