I'm sure someone can give you a bit more info than I can but I'm sure your meant to have your injectors serviced, a poor injector could cause some of the problems you have talked about in your post above.

If your thinking of selling yours I would aim to keep it original as possible more of a market for stuff which hasn't been mollested , as jess0 said the tdi is a easy enough conversion I had a 200tdi in my garage up until not so long ago and know where there is another good one if your still...

Well I plan to keep this one original as much as possible

It had a line painted on the pillars which was the max water line so I was told

I'm not sure why it was so high guess it was something to do with the wading model side of things

Under the skin it was a bit rusty to be fair both footwells were replaced at some point amongst many other things had a series of Levers under the bonnet to re route the air supply etc

Heres my current land rover, its a 200 tdi defender on a galvanized chassis done nearly 200,000 miles and is a bit of a ongoing project tidying it up mechanically and physically trying to keep it as standard as possible

I sold this vehicle recently but thought i would share it anyway It was a ex marine wading model i found out after i sold it :eek:
