Need help re: 1972 Land Rover Series III!

Little warning, ive driven the landy more than what the mrs calls "the proper car" which means you have to think a bit the first 5 minutes when driving the modern car to avoid emergency stop style braking and windscreen wipers going on when you want indicator

Need help re: 1972 Land Rover Series III!

I think steering and brakes are on area its worth getting checked once a year, some of the people who were selling drove their landy fine but i couldnt and felt the steering was dangerous. If you drive something regularly you get used to it and automatically adjust how you drive it and you might...

Need help re: 1972 Land Rover Series III!

I've had my series 3 for 2 months now, I knew exactly what they were like before i bought it though. Steering, if you've never driven a car without power steering this could be a shock, my first car was a vauxhall viva which had no power steering and you couldnt turn the wheels on that if it...

Your right it was, drove to north weald Sunday and the passenger side wiper decided that wiping the whole window was too much like hard work and gradually wiped less and less, nut just needed tightening, works properly now but is less amusing

Someone needs to design a gearbox tunnel that's split down the middle and hinged so you can unclipped it and open it up easily

To be honest you don't really need a speedo, if you can have a conversation at normal voice level with your passenger your doing under 30, if your shouting your some where between 30 and 50, if your passenger looks like they are screaming in fear but you can't hear a scream over the noise of the...

It goes into gear fine, it's just when I get to around 47mph it vibrates its not a loud noise and only around that speed. Think it must vibrate at exactly the right frequency to make an annoying sound. Probably designed by the same bloke who managed to design a speedo that's accurate over 30...
