    Cheap landrovers anyone

I would have expected the full fat Range Rovers to be fairly safe, unless the accountants cut back on cost of door seals! Tricky

    Eye Watering MOT cost!

Ditto, our whole family absolutely love our RR and tell me never to part with it. Now my two boys have passed their driving tests, it’s dad when can I drive it. No chance is the response, at least not until I can’t drive myself. Enjoy driving secure in the knowledge that you’ve got 12 months MoT...

    L322 Parking Sensor Fix

Hi Just saw your post, it’s an old thread so perhaps the original post won’t be replied to. I can tell you that I’m on my second L322 and both have had various parking sensor issues and in every case When one or more are not functioning the remaining sensors continue as normal, however, that is...

P38A Mondial vs Hurricane wheels value

We’ve had Cross Climate on our Citroen C8 for a few years and they’re super sticky on the road, always superb grip and should be good for a RR but not sure about how they will effect your MPG given the rolling resistance. If you get them let us know. Cheers, Tricky

P38A P38 nearly went up in smoke!

Looking at the picture someone has been in there before you with the electrical tape . Well spotted and another P38 stays alive. I’m not able to help as I don’t know that model but wanted to say good luck fixing it. Tricky

curiouser and curiouser trans safe prog

Nice job, keep the faith! These L322 systems do seem to have a number of self learning or resetting programs but there’s no mention of them in the handbooks! Perhaps the stealers have been earning good money off them for years? It does feel good to find them yourself. Tricky

    Range 4.2 v8 s/c exhaust

Welcome to LZ. I just wanted to say that although you are planning to renew the system anyway I’m sure that you’ll want the waning to be resolved. I was also having MIL waning that recorded emissions on bank 1 then 2 but while using the car (also 4.2 SC but 2005) would clear itself. Speaking to...

L322 L322 Reverse Camera Constantly On

Hi Jake, welcome to LZ. Three questions that may help draw some more assistance. 1. How long have you had your Range and what model is it? 2. Does it have a factory fitted camera? 3. How did this issue start, had you been working on the car for example? It may shed some more light on a...

    2008, L322, 4.2, SC- Electrical Circuit Diagram

Ed if you’re still watching, I’m totally with you on the LR electrical over engineering being replaced by more up to date clever tech that actually works so do please post any other projects as we can all benefit from your exploits. My rear washer jet conversion seems basic now by comparison...

    2008, L322, 4.2, SC- Electrical Circuit Diagram

As someone who runs a standard 4.2 I can’t understand why coils would be an improvement as the ride of my SC is decidedly firm with the factory 20” rims and gets lovely and street cruise when the summer 285x35R22’s go on. Loving the upgrades to technology, obviously planning on keeping your...

L322 Rear Screen Washer Leak Resolved

You’re really getting into this aren’t you. Your assessment of the whole system seems correct to me. If anyone is experiencing a lack of washer fluid out the rear jet then work back by checking the jets are clear then for leaks into the motor housing. If that’s all dry then the non-return valve...

L322 Question about jacking - Need to remove driver rear wheel

Good morning, personally I always use the jacking points but make sure you don’t crush the plastic sill covers if your Jack plate is large, use a hard wooden block. I’ve tried all the tips to stop the air bag from dropping but still end up putting the scissor Jack under the swinging arm to hold...

Sport New to me 4.2 sc

I have one of those “lists “. I did mine limo black a few years ago but unfortunately bought tint film a bit cheap and it’s started to fade so needs re-doing. Just waiting for slightly warmer outdoor temperatures. Tricky

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Please can you expand, does it need to be there as a precaution and as such needs replacing to ensure good ground or is there known static that builds in the engine bay? Tricky.
