So the breakdown is going well. I treated myself to a Milwaukee impact gun. See attached pic. Omg great buy - should have had one years ago. Has cracked every bolt and nut so far with no problems. Even the very rusty and seized steering box brackets.

New Chassis at last for Leaky the Landy - rebuild fred

So a little sunshine and warmer yesterday so I started to strip down the Landy - photos are self-evident why it needs a new chassis! Hopefully the other wing off today. Oil pressure gauge advice ?

Thanks All I will leave the gauge for now as I have started my rebuild - however I fixed the oil pressure warning light - on all the time issue. It was the switch itself - swapped it out and light went straight out . interesting that the old switch must have been the original from 1993 - had to...

    Oil pressure gauge advice ?

Hi all. Have searched but most posts are about oil pressure gauges for the dash. I would like a recommendation for an oil pressure gauge to check my pressure once a year on a service. New Chassis at last for Leaky the Landy - rebuild fred

Gonna try and do all the suspension first and make it a rolling chassis. Then do the wiring. Then literally remove the engine and gearbox do a 180 and drop into the new chassis. Once done remove roof then swap tub and bulkhead etc. Push out into the drive and replace the roof. That’s the plan...

200tdi timing query.... no adjustment on the pump plate

Ok. So eventually found time to do this. Did exactly like James suggested and moved the pump gear one tooth clockwise. Can't believe the difference it has made when I advanced the timing a few degrees. Thanks again James

200tdi timing query.... no adjustment on the pump plate

Will that not move it to far the other way James? Previous reply advised that the pump itself can be turned as has slots also?
