    2.5 diesel MPG

There's a local guy to me who sells it. Its difficult to find most of the time as there's no definitive list of pumps etc. so it's often local knowledge. But make sure it's good stuff he sells as you can get some crap, but they won't last long if they are. But read up on that website and it...

    2.5 diesel MPG

Would get 18 mpg on manual driving around the countryside mostly with trailers, 30 on the motorway. It has a blue tuning power box. Recently switched to using biodiesel that I run my 300 tdi discovery on and get about 22 doing the same trips around the countryside. Yet to do a motorway trip on...

What have you done to your Landie today.

Passed the MOT yaaaaay! Only 2 minors first time for a cracked number plate and hand brake that barely passed! Chuffed with that!

    A Very long project

With the bulkhead, I think I'll buy the door pilars and top section and make the bit between that and the footwells. The chassis can be repaired but will buy the rear crossmember. I'm not a very competent welder but my dad is :D Only hold up with any progress now is waiting for one of the...

What's this. Is it important It's not on?

What's this. Is it important It's not on?

Can't be. It's defiantly got that in. The timken pack came with the silver lock nut that you bend the tabs over onto each nut. And this washer

What's this. Is it important It's not on?

But the bearing pack came with two lock nuts? One was silver with a longer flat edge on this.

What's this. Is it important It's not on?

Are you thinking of the locknut that goes between the two nuts? Or does this bend up against just 1?

What's this. Is it important It's not on?

They might've done since the set before wasnt that old but got some ****e in it which killed it. I'll check myself tomorrow.

What's this. Is it important It's not on?

As above. Found this left over in my wheel bearing kit, is it important? Could it explain why my wheel bearings are coming loose after 1 day (it's been to the garage and they're stumped as to why as well)

    A Very long project

Chassis I think I can cope with.. Just. The bulkhead is going to need a lot of thought. I would love a new chassis and bulkhead but it's more than I can afford in a long time, unless some of you kind people wold like sponsor me to do it :D chassis needs new rear crossmember, 2 12" sections of...

    A Very long project

Don't expect this thread to update any time quick haha. Piggy bank is gonna take some filling for new bulkhead parts. But just to keep you guys happy here's some pictures of it being cleaned out a bit and all the rust flakes cleared up. And some of the treasure I've found in the back!

    A Very long project

The wiring is in a right state at the moment, gonna have a clean up of it today and may risk it.. Don't think you would hear the sound of the engine to the rust flying off. I was told the engine was started about a year ago and the only issue was the carb had seized. But when I took the black...

    A Very long project

Haha. Ran out 15 years ago! But as of November it won't need an MOT! Don't think I'm stupid enough to drive it like that though :D

    A Very long project

Well I thought I would share with you all my latest purchase, a 1954 86" series 1. Not in the best condition with a very rotten bulkhead, so I can't see myself getting very far with this any time soon. anyway here's some pictures for your entertainment! One very rotten crossmember

What have you done to your Landie today.
