Hi All, Just had an MOT and unfortunately she failed! Couple of easy fixes but one that's got me scratching my head is the exhaust gas results. It failed on Hydro Carbons - HC. The limit is 1200ppm and the test came back at 1475ppm Anyone had this before? Anything to try before taking it...

I'm not sure what i'm more envious of, the work you are doing or the workshop your doing in it.

Being a Sankey mine has these at the back already. The idea of is that the front will be used to level the trailer onto the back legs.

I used two 80mha Numax - no issues. Snug fit but lots of juice.

Might end up going that route, not sure I'm going to be happy with what I'm currently doing.

Was able to get a bit more done over the last few weekends: firstly spraying the under coast white to "blend" the colours at the join - looked less obvious in the primer but hey ho. Then mounting the tent to the roof which i had to modify the roof rack to fit. Then test it all out...

Thanks! Start with TIG or Stick, is my advice. Going from MIG to TIG is tough.

Electrical hatch door. Helps get at the VSR and incoming fuse. And that all caught up now - 11 months of work. I wasn't joking about moving slow!!!

Mud flaps - the wider chassis makes it slightly harder again.

Internal electrical works - charging circuit etc. Disclaimer - not an expert at this if anyone see's something dangerous with my set up - let me know! :D

Extending the brake line - this was a pain as i couldn't ID the thread, so had to make a new elbow.

Fitting the rear door, with seal, lock, and strut. No need for glass in the door so a bit of steel was welded in.

Fitting bumperettes - bit more than bolting in place as the chassis rails on the sankey are wider than a Defender so I couldn't get to the back of some of the bolts. Captive nuts required.

Building up the front section

Fitting lights and changing tow electrics to 13pin.

Bit of body building... including - learning to TIG thin Aluminium
