What did you do with your Range Rover today

That’s pretty much how I’ve run the cable, though I’ve got the rear seats folded forward so it’s sitting on the carpet under neath their bases, I ran the fan heater in there on and off for a bit aswell to hopefully put some of the moisture into the air for the dehumidifier to grab easier. Didn’t...

That’s not a bad idea to get any last little bits out, I chucked a towel under the carpet the other day for a couple of days and to be fair that managed to grab a decent chunk of it out of the sponge in fairness.

Certainly, assuming I get onto the sealing up today presumably I won’t have to worry about mass amounts getting in soaking up the underside of the carpet. Gotta do a favour for a mate first but that’s fine as it means I can borrow his car and grab some silicone and electricky stuff to finish...

Got another 350ml out over night plus the 250ml I got out yesterday that I emptied before I left for the night. Put a fan heater in mainly pointed at the folded over carpet sponge and Already got another couple hundred ml I reckon in the space of an 30 mins. To be fair not a bad idea to have...

Yeah I did already spot them as they were easy enough to figure out what with being proper connectors. Just need to plump in the gas line on the passenger side reducer as that was already hanging out, double check all the clamps are nice and tight and then do that last bit of wiring and with any...

Yeah that’s what I thought from looking at it, it was just stumping me as I was unsure where the tank stuff was coming out I should have asked you really but I found it anyway now. I’m presuming the injector cut offs have already been done?

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Perfect, that was the only thing I was unsure on. Just ordered the fish tank foam for delivery tomorrow so that means I can crack on and seal up tomorrow! Bonus. That means expect another post this time tomorrow to say I broked everything taking it all apart😂 Or they I connected the lpg up...

Thanks for that, fish tank foam might be a bit quicker and easier to get hold of which means I can seal up sooner rather than later.

Well when you only have access to the one car it means I have to be a little bit sensible occasionally as need it to get about, I do still technically have the freelander at the minute though it’s uninsured so can’t drive it. Managed to give the boot a bloody good slam so the lock catches with...

It’s the in theory that makes me think it’s worth grabbing a new joint just in case wouldn’t want to successfully get it all stripped down only to find it refuses to budge without possibly damaging the joint in the process. Then if it indeed comes off easy enough and new ring goes back in fine...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Yeah I was thinking it might just be easier to replace the joint aswell, I mean technically my ring is split so it might actually knock off easily but it looks like the joints don’t cost much either so probably just go that route, then I can always play with the old one in my spare time to see...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Perfect this was just what I needed pictures and a bit of info as I’ve got a reluctor ring to replace which is essentially the same job either that or I just replace the cv joint anyway since that comes with a new ring though I’ve already got a ring that came with the car to replace it with...

@kermit_rr just spotted on the fullfatrr forum that there aren’t protective caps it’s basically welded on from factory but they are known to swell and need something like a 23mm or 7/8 impact socket and gun on them and then obviously replacing if they are swollen.

new battery fitted. now bleeping going on in the boot

And people say I’m just a pretty face. I do have the occasional brain wave when my only cell decides it’s got some get up and go.

Ah that would explain it though I would have thought that with enough force they still would have shifted with the cap on.

new battery fitted. now bleeping going on in the boot

Don’t some newer cars require the battery being programmed in so it knows it can charge it right? Maybe it’s something like that telling you it needs to be programmed in.

I’ve got a big battery one, lent it to my brother one time and he didn’t seat the socket on the bolt fully a 22mm nut went to about a 13mm circle in the space of 2 seconds. It’s something stupid like 1300nm undo torque.

Jesus what did they do stick it on with a hgv gun, even I can normally get overtorqued nuts off with a 3ft breaker and you’ve met me there isn’t much to me. Had a good look under bonnet and think I’ve finally sussed the lpg wiring out yay. Just gotta connect it all back up now and get some gas...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

I’m theory it shouldn’t come on when a trailer is plugged in then, as my freelander has a specific trailer relay which tells it when plugged in about various things it even has a specific trailer light on the dash binnacle. While the freelander I have doesn’t have parking sensors presumably if...
