    Poss L494 / L405 purchase advice

    The l405 was prone to rear diff failure apparently there was a shortage of replacement ones ,,Something to do with bearing turning in the diff housing ,thats the only horror story iv herd...;)..

    L322 She's been too quiet, but now a problem.

    I think but don"t quote me on it the camber ,caster angle is adjustable on the bottom arm bolt if its not put back where it was (round marks on washer position) the car will pull easier to one side than the other when steering and if not tightened up proper torque it will clonk,:eek:.....

    The aircon cuts off at outside temperatures below 4or 5 degrees:rolleyes:,,id check earth points and alternator output ,because engines sometimes rev ..idle slightly higher when theres no alternator load on it ,and as wee all know low power causes all manner of faults when theres nout wrong ;)

    WHOT :eek: I just got two bp rear ones,rubber ,got them cause me ferrules :oops: are looking old , But they do have all the metal clips n bits ,surely theres a standard they must meet..pressure test or something .o_O..or maby get you through an M,O,T then THROUGH A HEDGE:eek:..:D:D

    Crikey in must be bad snow and seals ,,,,,,,any penguins:D It wasnt plain sailing for me today ether ,,At one point i had to turn the heater up to 22 degrees :p:p..

    You live n learn ,Today after starting my rangerover i :confused: though i will top up the screenwash with -8 non freeze stuff,anyway popped the top off reservoir ,got the bottle n started to pour ,BLOODY FAN WAS ROARING N BLEW ME SCREENWASH ALL OVER THE PLACE ,that will teach me...

    If your happy with it as is leave it well alone , not broke dont fix it ,,, but it might have a tuning box ,cause its manual or chipped,,;)
