Check the seals around the very end of the rain gutter. That’s where mine leaked. And also the sealant around the top of the windscreen the attached might help

Tyres fitted- let’s off-road!! Insa Turbo Risko MT 265/70/16

2” spacers fitted under the air bags (replaced the 1” ones already in there) and waiting for the Insa Dakar’s to turn up for the 16” alloys I acquired on Friday to replace the 18’s & AT3’s it’s currently rolling on.

Very tempted- but Southampton to Blackpool is a bugger of a drive! If I can swing a visit to my office in Burnley soon and you still have them I’ll let you know!

Where they the stock LR 16” alloys and what tyres did you have on them before you put the new tyres on?

I haven’t bought them yet - hoping to have a look today as they’re local. I’m assuming they’re the 7” version as they have 235 width road tyres on at the moment but not 100%

Good work on finding the box - aside from the Ashcroft option of getting mine reconditioned there aren’t a lot of options, 2nd hand ones are like hens teeth!!

Are you going for a new transfer box and linkage? Guessing, like me, you don’t have the cdl internals which makes it more expensive! Been on my to do list for a while!

I’ve been meaning to do something with the exhaust on my td5 - any mot issues with removing the cat or even going to a straight through pipe?

I have the same issue (blowing fuses) with my rear window heater and have been putting the job off for ages as electrics are not one of my strengths! Fingers crossed it turns out to be something similar

Thought I’d try adjusting the existing wastgate before fitting the forge unit (quite possibly the shiniest thing on the car!) - the nut and adjuster seems to be stuck/locked up so can’t move that and the sodding rear bolt for the heat shield is also stuck!! Managed to get it about half way out...

Worth checking the rear doughnut between prop and dif. Even a few small cranks can make it unstable - I changed mine along with the UJ’s (gkn heavy duty option) on front and rear props and it’s made a massive difference to annoying drone that I had. Have a look at discovery2.co.uk for UP’s write...
