That's not what it was sold to me as. Both it and its other half, were described differently, and I was charged substantially more than I would have expected to pay for "a screw" (although substantially less than I'd imagine I'd have to pay for half an hour with a lady of the night).

Advice please. what are the advantages/disadvantages of using flux cored wire rather than gas. I ask because Lidl are flogging a "flux cored wire welder" at at remarkably advantageous price (£79.99), there seems to be no facility to attach a gas bottle to the kit.
