    Avon tyre profile?

Haha I probably don’t to be honest. it’s almost totally original at the moment and the intention is to keep it that way. There can’t be many about that still have the AM radio :-)

    Avon tyre profile?

Hi y’all. Im thinking about that tyres to put on the 110 rims when it’s finished. At the moment it had Avon rangemasters, marked up with 112/110N 7.50-R16 What does the 7.50 mean in relation to a modern tyre? I can get the Avons but if something like the BFGs are better then why not. At the...

What have you done on your 90/110/130 today?

Was there really no-one in Solihull in the 80s with the title ‘Galvanic Corrosion Prevention Officer’?? It’s a shame, but this may have to get plated if I can’t find those tread plates.

What have you done on your 90/110/130 today?

Last big job is the rear tub so got it inside and started stripping the lights etc off the back. has anyone found the internal running strips for something like sensible money? I’ll deffo need 3 but ideally 5, but I can only find them for £30 each. I think it’s part number 330615 or maybe...

Thanks for that. Can you recommend anywhere to get Dixon Bate spares for the NATO hitch?

What have you done on your 90/110/130 today?

Cleaned painted and refit the tow hitch today. Also renovated a NATO hitch I have which was completely seized. Fitted an new tow socket just to finish the job up. Does anyone know if I can get just the saddle part of the hitch so I can mount the NATO hitch to its own plate?

Actually it’s this one which is on the water pump on the 12J. Maybe not applicable for your engine.

One of those bolts goes into an oil way if I recall. Maybe it’s from there?

    Seat box before Rear Tub?

Here’s the tub. I don’t think I can wait so my plan is to refit it (maybe give it a bit of a run down first) and get her running and driving again. With all new fixings it should be a doddle to remove when it warms up later in the year.

What have you done on your 90/110/130 today?

Refitted the renovated exhaust today. Under the tub now all complete so can drop it back onto its wheels.

    Seat box before Rear Tub?

I’ve already got a spray booth set up in the woodshed. And, my garage (barn) has no hearing anyhow. It’s all kinds of cold at my place. :-)

    Seat box before Rear Tub?

I knew this was the real answer. Trouble is, if I fit the seat box I can drive it around again, and I’ve got to wait for the weather before I can paint the tub. Ah well, roll on the spring. :-)

    Seat box before Rear Tub?

Hi again all. I have painted the seat box on my 110 rebuild but not the tub, both of which are currently not fitted. I’d like to now fit the seat box and all the floors forwards, but I don’t want to fit the tub yet as it’s not been worked on. Would this work, or would I have to take the seat...

What have you done on your 90/110/130 today?

Just finished treating the chassis inside and out with Lanoguard. It’s very easy to apply and when dry, leaves a waxy surface that’s a matt finish. Hopefully it’ll protect as good as it smells.

    Fuel tank and shield mounting

The worst part of it for me is that there’s no drain in the lowest part of the shield. The water had obviously collected in the recess in the shield and rotted the bottom of the tank. There’s a drain in there now!

    Fuel tank and shield mounting

Tanks back in and I thought id share my technique as it’s not that easy on your own. I first installed just the tank without the shield, only really caring about the upper rubbers and the nuts on only loosely. This way you don’t have to worry about the weight of the shield. I then strapped the...
