    EBay paint.

I have used the same supplier as Gatso in the past Mick and had no complaints with them or the product.

    Axle paint

But yes, as Boguing says, I had my last couple of casings galvanised, and then painted in the above primer (corroless S) and top coat of Rustoleum, just in the hunt of trying to protect things as much as I can.

    Axle paint

I have used a few corroless products and they seem good so far, Primer, Corroless S, and is nice to apply, quite high build and as such takes a while to dry properly. Top coat corroless chassis in one, dries quick and gives a nice satin finish, but I find it hard to get a good finish with the...

    Aaron's 90 rebuild round 4

Not been on for a while, but have been a little busy, both work and home. Not project related as such, but a little bit of movement on the shed front. Tree cut down and removed, 200mm dig out, two 8yard skips, dug and barrowed by hand, it's times like these you start to question whether you...

    Aaron's 90 rebuild round 4

    Aaron's 90 rebuild round 4

Yours will be a bigger, better shed than mine though :) I just need something to get me by for a couple of years, I am hoping to have something water tight for the end of summer. Green shed yes, I just dragged it down the garden, it was flapping and bending a bit when lifting but I wasn't too...

    Aaron's 90 rebuild round 4

Didn't do a lot on the project this weekend, had a little tinker on Saturday for a couple of hours but that's it. Sunday I spent sorting the garden out ready for building a new shed. Don't even know what I want yet, but if I don't just start nothing will ever happen and just keep overthinking...

    300 Tdi Rebuild

It's no problem mate, I very rarely use it, I'd likely not use it again this year. I'd rather help people if I can, it will only sit gathering dust anyhow.

    Aaron's 90 rebuild round 4

Forgot to update last weekend, and what a nice one it was, sun was shining, not a cloud in the ski, it almost felt like summer o_O Although Their wasn't a lot to show for a weekends work. We all know panel prep takes sooo long  Lots of wet flatting, as well as heavy removal of that red...

    Aaron's 90 rebuild round 4

It does soon add up  I don't think some realise and appreciate how much it costs to do a rebuild, and do it right, until you do one yourself. And yes, good quality engine bits soon add up too

    Aaron's 90 rebuild round 4

Made a start on the wings today. The headlight nose cone thing was more time consuming to replace than I thought as it is all spot welded together. But it doesn't help I haven't done one before, second one came apart much quicker. What I started with Unbolted and disassembled. Nose cone...

    Aaron's 90 rebuild round 4

Didn't quite get around to starting on the wings at the weekend, but the panels for them arrived. Wing skins it was a pleasant surprise to see they came in primer already, I expected them to come in bare allu to be fair. And genuine lr nose cones as the call them, I don't think they're too...

Crank pulley nut removal tip; without specialist tools

Don't worry about it mate, if you send me your address I'll stick it in the post, it isn't something I use very often, send it back when you're all done and dusted in a months time or what have you, it really isn't a problem at all. Saves you the time and hassle of trying to cobble something...

P.S. I also have the Sgs engineering engine stand and also very happy with it.

Engine Stand and Fixing Engine to it

I use a 20t press at home. At the time I bought it a few years ago I thought it was overkill for what I use it. But I'm glad I did now, lr bushes can be very tight and some have taken quite some time to get out.
