    Hard starting??

Just a thought but bypass the sedimenter with some pipe connecting the fuel lines and see if your problem persists. Wouldn't hurt to rule that out. It does sound like air is getting in somewhere. Have you checked the pickup and return pipes on the tank? I've found before that they can rust and...

    Hard starting??

I'd stick with the lift pump otherwise you'd need to find some way of blanking that off as well as rigging it up to make sure that the 12v pump is set correctly. The lift pumps are simple, reliable and cheap so if you think its that that's causing the problem then just replace

    Defender Wheels, what are these?

Even the ones I've currently got on aren't that bad lol

    Defender Wheels, what are these?

They're just for show. It's supposed to make it look like the wheel has bead locks fitted

    Defender 110 vibration 65/70mph upwards

If your wheels are unbalanced then you wouldn't necessarily notice it all the time and only really are higher speeds but if they've been done then fair enough. Not that far fetched to think one of them has chucked off a balancing weight at some point though. As I said it wouldn't hurt to get...

    Adapt Optimill fuel cap?

Why you've revived a 3 year old thread that was originally about a fuel cap to go on about your wing mirrors is beyond me. Just tighten them up

    Future of some Land Rovers?

I don't live in or near a city and have no need to go into one. Problem solved

    Defender 110 vibration 65/70mph upwards

I would have said start with the basics and get your wheels balanced. I had a vibration that was doing my head in and I couldn't figure it out. I'd had my wheels balanced when I fitted new tyres so said no it's not that. Turned out it was and that garage was just ****, got them balanced at a...

    Clutch Pipe

A local garage should be able to make one up for you fairly cheaply. I looked at buying one of those before incase I had to replace it and they're bloody silly money for a length of pipe

    Reverse light always on.

It doesn't, the R380 switch is wound in all the way for it to work. He's probably just got a stuck switch, something simple to fix

    Reverse light always on.

What gearbox is it? As far as I remember the LT77 has a reverse switch you can screw out and adjust with a lock nut, the R380 is one you just screw in all the way. I'd just replace it, they're not expensive at all

    Smokey starter motor.

Wai is a well known manufacturer that do predominantly make starter motors and alternators etc... I've had a few items made by them and never had an issue.

    Smokey starter motor.

You can get a starter off ebay for a lot less. 200 quid for a good quality Wai one https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-WAI-Starter-Motor-for-Land-Rover-110-12J-2-5-Litre-01-1985-09-1990-/124563604366?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0

    300tdi setup/tuning

Either that or try Gemm 4x4 in Larbert, they used to be really good and do parts and spares as well as have a landy scrapyard which had served me well over the years. Haven't been to them in a long time but the owner George is always really helpful

Gravity bleeding is a bit fiddly to get the hang of but once you do you'll never go back to bleeding the clutch the old fashioned way again

    Optima battery clamp?

Well for some reason it's not letting me post an amazon link but there's one on there that suits what you're after. It's 12.99

    Optima battery clamp?

Ah the actual clamp that stops the battery moving? Just get some smaller threaded rods, or raise the battery up on something. I've never had mine clamped down and it's never been a problem but then it is huge and weighs a ton so it's unlikely to go anywhere
