Series 3 2nd row seat floor

Thinner buffers and some hammer fettling fixed the issue πŸ‘

Series 3 2nd row seat floor

    Thank you πŸ‘ Will do.

Series 3 2nd row seat floor

So fettling the chassis support brackets with a hammer is acceptable 😁

Series 3 2nd row seat floor

Don't ask why I didn't think of that! It's been one of those days. Will try thinner buffers (the photo makes them look bigger than the ΒΌ"that they are. Got plenty of play between the kick panel and rear tub.

Series 3 2nd row seat floor

Just a quick question, putting things back together today and the 2nd row floor seems to be sitting high. Everything else lines up, eg rear tub, seat box, front floor, side frames, bulkhead, outer sills etc. My only thought is that the chassis support brackets are sat too high (new Richards...

series 3 new leaf springs, now sitting at different heights

Out of interest, what difference does it make if you have poly bushes? I've used poly bushes, fitted when the chassis was swapped, but with the assistance of a LR mechanic, so I may have missed why or how he went about it.

Bulkhead fitted. Steering nearly completed Front foot wells done. Seat box in. Just waiting for the rear tub to come back and then the side frames can go on. (Btw, if anyone has any photos showing where the side frames bolt on to the bulkhead/chassis/rear tub I would really appreciate it, as...

    Series 3 side frames

Hi guys and girls Project Noel has hit a problem. I am trying to fit the new side frames purchased from YRM (fully assembled with side frame fixing kit) to the new Richards galvanised chassis, but dont have a clue how to do it. Is there a 'how to' video or fitting guide? Im sure its simple if...

Series 3 Rear fuel tank to fuel pipe connection

Quite mad and by the look of my original post, stupid as well.

Series 3 Rear fuel tank to fuel pipe connection

Ok, ignore that. Award for idiot of the month goes to me. It connects here doesn't it. To the fuel sender unit πŸ™„ Sometimes my own stupidity amazes me.

Series 3 Rear fuel tank to fuel pipe connection

Morning campers. I'm clearly being thick. I've fitted a new *hitpart fuel tank and am now trying to connect the fuel pipe to it. I've looked at the schematic drawings but still can't figure it out. Am I missing something? Is there another bit of pipe needed? Please help! Thank you

    Series 3 Led lights

Not just a case of changing to a compatible relay? Currently have no loom, lights, fuse holders etc etc so will be starting from scratch. I'm doing a resto mod, and as a general rule, things that look out of place to other people tend to appeal to me😁.

    Series 3 Led lights

Just a quick question before I spend £££. I would like to fit led lights on my s3 but, will they be road legal and pass an MOT? Thanks in advance. Shirl.

    Meet Noel

I seriously hate waxoyl at the moment. Still scraping it off the bodywork in readiness to join the bulkhead and side frames that I dropped off at the spray shop this morning. Hopefully I can start the bodywork reassembly process in the next few weeks πŸ˜ƒ Still got to deal with this little lot...

Not much to report of late. Still prepping bodywork and finding more things that are broken. Today however I did pick up a small panel from the spray shop after a trial spray. It feels like a little bit closer to the end. Going back to the original "limestone"

    stereo and speakers

Before fitting any ICE, its worth applying as much sound deadening as possible. Custom speaker pods are the way to go. MDF and fiberglass are perfect. Personally I would not recommend using headphones whilst driving.

the good folks at YRM came to my rescue.
