Tbh I’m pretty sure the car came out of the factory with the air bags perishing! In fairness I’m very pleased with the outcome, I daily the car and was expecting a lot more. All the above seems bits I can DIY with the odd bit of help here and there!

Hopefully it won’t come to that. I’m known at work for fixing a bike puncture with a hammer, so brute force I’m pretty good at. I was going to ask why the cowling needed to be removed? Does it affect the air flow, or..?

Evening all, In the ever continuing journey with the P38 I’ve got another problem/issue/querk I’m stumped with. Engine is the 2.5D to help work out. When the engine is cold, it is unbelievably loud - almost like a beating has gone, but once the engine is warm, almost exactly as the needle...

Evening all, on Saturday I finally got around to get the car in the air and changed out all 4 shocks for some TerraFirma ones. While under there I did notice some corrosion and surface rust. Once the major corrosion is sorted and I’ve wire brushed off the surface rust, what’s the better options...

There’s a lot to unpack in there. But the instrument surround looks close to the gear selector and handbrake.. but very different from the centre trim.
