Yep, just had a check on Defender prices, 'old' and 'new'.......still demanding silly money...If I were in the market for a 4x4 at this moment in time I think I'd be turning Japanese. Yep, I really think so.

Defender's aren't cheap to run or own, bite the bullet and use decent diesel....or sell it for a grossly inflated price and buy something more economical :D

Yep, WD40 is available in that type of container so it should be another good option.:)

The seals in a syringe will probably be okay for single or a few uses if you clean them well after use, could use a small piece of tube to get the fluid right where you want it. In my experience, syringes are great for drawing a vacuum on brake systems but the seals tend to go soft and swell...

I'm with you on that, IMO the prices for the Defender are way OTT at the moment and quite simply, to me, they're not worth the money people are asking. Good luck to the sellers but there's not a chance in hell I'd spend near 15-20K for a 20 year old Defender......each to their own.

Quite poor that the dealer doesn't mention it's 'recorded'. Also, seems like they hand painted the undercoat on the chassis without clearing the rust first.......as the previous poster ....partly polished turd in my book. :rolleyes: I'd not be paying anywhere near 16k for that with less than a...

Looking at the 'company' who produced the report, 'independant'? probably not. Who funds the company who produced the independant report I wonder,.....
