Nah they don't look bad. Just a little bit crunchy, but still solid. I'll hang everything on with one bolt probably so I can run the sensor cables and check the amigos are sorted out then throw the new bolts in when they arrive.

Well, the new ball joints are in! Ordered replacement bolts for the wheel hub but they didn't come in time and I'm impatient as hell so I'm tempted to just reuse the old ones. Next job this afternoon is putting it back together, then on to track rods :)

No end of recommendations for chassis treatments I bet! I used hammerite on my old Hilux but it was horrific, like I hadn't done it a few months later. I've made my peace with letting it rot this winter and doing it after a spell of nice weather next year so there's a cat in hell's chance the...
