Feels a bit wobbley on road

Access to the adjuster is a little awkward, but once you figure out the required arm contortions, it's all pretty simple...

Feels a bit wobbley on road

See the thread I posted about this a while back... http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f10/death-wander-finally-cured-182824.html Start with things that are cheap / free first, like tyre pressures and steering box adusting...

    16x8 Steel Modulars with 235/70-16 muds - P38 / Disco 2 fitment

I'm not entirely sure, but I believe the L322 has a larger centre bore... 72.5mm vs 70.3mm. Let me measure them up in the morning, I don't recall if the centre bores were that tight on the hubs or not...

DSE -Removing viscous fan when a sharp tap just isn't enough

Get a blowtorch on the nut... then repeated sharp taps. That got mine off, and it looked like it was never going to shift at first...

    wheels

I went the opposite way.. changed from 18's to 16s, and the whole setup just rides alot smoother and more controled. Tramlining on the 18s was horrible, didn't fully go away until I put the 16s on. Tramlining on anything bigger would be horrendous... the suspension is set up for alot of sidewall...

    CB Aerial for FM Radio

FM spectrum is 88-108 (give or take), so aim for the mid-point - 98. 984 / 98 gives you 10.04 (it's in feet with that formula) - so 1/4 wave will give you 2.54 ft. Bear in mind chopping it to that length will make it next to useless for CB, if you intend ever using it for that again...

I've been told they're interchangeable anyway... How does £30 sound? I've figured shipping to be around £20, which I could arrange...

    maxi fuse 2 removed! Why?

Has someone replaced a Diesel fusebox with a petrol one here, perhaps? And fiddled things around to make it work?

    Fuse 8

He's using one of my attenuator leads. He just received it. And yes, the sat nav MAY not work with an aftermarket HU (never found out for definite tbh). It's s**te and outdated anyhow... :) I have no idea about the other faults... sure you haven't blown anything else?

    Fuse 8

Then there's something wrong with your meter! Either that or you inadvertently shorted by letting the probes touch. Where did the spark eminate from?

    CB Aerial for FM Radio

The aerial length has to be a defined fraction of the wavelength you intend receiving. 1/4 wave is common, as are 1/2, 5/8, and 1/8. Full wave less so, as the antenna would be quite large for the FM broadcast wavelengths. IIRC, the formula for antenna size is 984/frequency in MHz. Since The CB...

Auto box change up to 4th fault

Mine does similar, except it only flares a little when changing from 3-4th or 4th-3rd... It hasn't got any worse or better in the last 11,000 miles, I've just lived with it...

    P38 Diesel conversion...

Yes... but the original Cummins 5.9L straight 6 is only 160hp... not much more than the BMW 2.5! (although more torque) - just goes to show you how sh*te american engines are... I had an F350 with a 7.3L V8 diesel... well, if you're gonna do it, do it properly :D
