I bought a suitable belt from charity shop made my own straps , self tapped into back of seat Middle seat back has some studs either side which fit in the two side brackets, secured at top with the straps the base sits nicely in the base frame See if I can add pic tomorrow

Something must be missing or broken or reassembled wrong , I would advise taking cover off take a pic not running and with running to see where it’s coming from

So it there a pressure of gases coming with the oil , or oil squirts under pressure You might have to run it with cover off to get a better idea of what’s going on , take bonnet off, cover everything else in old sheets / cardboard

That’s a lot, have you cleaned the mesh in filler cap with petrol and have you a pipe coming from it to inlet manifold which is clear

That’s the correct pump not sure about bolt lengths, I would fit loose and swap,around until a similar length sticks out when thread just started , some might be obvious. Checked workshop manual which just says take note when removing 😀

With cap off is It a proper blow you can feel with your hand or oil drops splashing out when engine running , oil gets pumped to rocker shaft and each rocker so not unusual for oil to get splashed about as that would be normal lubrication

Maybe if you have an under 3 in it, and vehicle did not have seat belts originally Otherwise you will have a good case to get fine rescinded
