Fitting Bolt on Bits electric fan

I had exactly the same setup. You know how your plastic cowl fitted to your radiator? It sat in 2 channels at the bottom of the frame the radiator sits in, then bolted up with 2 nuts on the top? The bolt on bits fitted on the same. I fitted the mounts first then the fan.

    Questions about an ex-RAF defender

Doubt it came out of the military in 2012 if it got an mot in 2011. The MOD didn’t mot vehicles (exempt). weird mot history with gaps. Less than 2000 miles over 10years fits with it being ‘stored’ but it appears to have be pulled out and ticketed now and again. I would check carefully for...

Valve Clearance with new Head Gasket

Valve clearance (I.e the tappets) stays the same regardless of which head gasket you have. the holes in the head gasket refer to the protrusion of the pistons above the block when at tdc. 1 is thinnest and no hole is thickest.

    Greenlaning

You will need to look it up per region, I got fined because I drove past a ‘waldweg gesperrt’ sign and got caught by the ranger. Some places it is illegal completely due to the Waldgesetz (forest act) etc. You will need to look it up by region, or find some local 4x4ers in the area you want to...

    Why oh why!!!!

Okay so when towing it in Gear it doesn’t actually fire and run, the engine just turns over. Well obviously it would do that as the gears are connected to the engine….. that isn’t the same as actually ‘running’ Why didn’t you just say that from the beginning? first thing it to have codes read...

    200tdi missfire

if the crank is damaged then the engine is essentially scrap unless you can rebuild it with a new crank. this is what mine looked like when I did my timing belt earlier this year. As you can see mine is undamaged and yours has a lot of damage. Looks to me like someone has used a punch to...
