*CANCELLED* LandyZone 13 - 24th/25th June 2017 - Everything you need to know!

It's unlikely that we will have any clothing on the weekend due to cost. BangTidy clothing logo stuff up to order which saves us carrying stock. I still have a stash off women's vests and T's that didn't sell last year. Best idea is to get your clothing ordered before the weekend direct from...

    Power loss at low revs

Now 1000 miles on from installing the VCV/VCU and all seems ok. All in it probably cost about £100 which is what LR wanted just to "asses it". Money saved and some good experience too winner winner.

    Devon Lanes 18th March

Well it was an eventful weekend to say the least. Thanks to @Funkykipper for organising (again) some great lanes.

    Devon Lanes 18th March

Due to 2 unfortunate breakdowns (very un-Land Rover like) we have 2 spaces in our group for a few lanes around Devon tomorrow. Short notice I know but I anyone's interested shout up.

    Power loss at low revs

Well I've changed the VCV, another job where I wish I had child sized hands but it's done and had a 'teach' done so for a small price. So far so good, only 30 ish miles done yesterday but no issues. Fingers crossed the problem may be solved.

    Power loss at low revs

The idea of going back to Alive was to use their diagnostic equipment whilst on the rolling road because of it being an intermittent problem, it can be driven in the filling road whilst being monitored. Hopefully I will get the Nanocom code today and see if it shows any faults.

    Power loss at low revs

A possibility although I've read contradicting info and believe the anti still only works in low box and maybe even only low 1st and second. Typically with intermittent faults it's bloody difficult to diagnose

    Power loss at low revs

Well I emailed Alive Tuning last night and after an email reply today Sturt from Alive gave me a call to offer some free advice. It sounds as though the fault codes that I saw are totally unrelated as they relate to things that aren't on a Defender. Next stop is looking at parts of the wiring...

    Power loss at low revs

Cheers for the reply @Wimblowdrive, good point on contacting Alive who I bought the reader from, I will drop them an email. I have also bought the Unlock code for the nanocom today so should be able to connect that tomorrow and see what that throws up. Interestingly I reset the faults today and...

    Power loss at low revs

My 2.4 Puma has developed a bit of a weird power loss at low revs. Normally it will trundle along nicely at tick over in 2nd or 3rd gear but, on Sunday it started dying as if it didn't have the torque to keep going. When reversing up the drive I needed about 2000rpm to movce where it normally...

LandyZone12....24th-26th June....Everything You Need To Know

I'm pretty sure that the only way to remove it from the home page is to delete the thread. I made the thread into an article and you can't reverse it...seemed like a good idea at the time. I may just move it into a closed are and see what happens
