Freelander 1 [SOLVED] External Temperature Reading

I feel like I'm missing something obvious then, I've visited a T4 and enabled the option but nothing came out the other end Do I need a specific ECU for it to output to the display, one from a NAS?

Freelander 1 [SOLVED] External Temperature Reading

I'm sad to say tonight is a tale of defeat. Whilst I was happy to find the mounting rail for the sensor behind the bonnet, and was able to run the cable from there through to the dashboard, there's been no improvement at the instrument pack. The sensor is certainly working; there's a reading...

Freelander 1 [SOLVED] External Temperature Reading

T4 found, IPK Temp option enabled but nothing on the display to indicate it worked. Current theory is that it needs the hardware installed to start reading correctly. Anticipating I'll be doing the sensor installation come Sunday. Hopefully the experiment is positive and it's a win.

Been to my LR specialist and he's been on the autologic only to find.. no way of enabling the setting. So we might be limited to T4 or bust

Right behind the front bumper assembly; a mounting point should already exist. Then I'd need to trail that cable back to the engine bay bulkhead to get it to interface with the car once the option is enabled

Admiral split multicar cover? It's taken me down to £100/mo, but to get there we had to ring them to see what their beef was - then they backed down. Might be considerably harder for a recent pass however

:D Just trying to save the seat so now I can lift myself in/out and stop scraping it That and I might've not noticed the blanking plates have two different sized pins the first time I pulled the roof down, so when I went to put it back there was a bit of a crack

It is I'd agree but the rear ones tend to have little plastic hooks attached which the front don't. As good as extra utility is I'd go for the pure front grab handle as to not tempt fate and obstruct your vision by hanging something on it, but personal preference will tell you what to do
