I run a temp gauge on my 300 tdi with the sensor in the top bung on the thermostat housing The D1 dash temp gauge doesn't move a mm before 106 C and at 110 C is pretty much near the red

On my friends 300 tdi defender we purposefully linked the front diff and trf box and g/box breathers to after the filter Alas he no longer has the vehicle - and we used thin tubing, attached the whole lot together using the bulkhead as a securing point That's about as much as I can add

Is it before or after the air filter ?

By the looks of the pic it's putting more space between the slave and the push rod for the clutch lever if you put 20 of them on then the clutch inside the cabin would only take at the bottom of the foot stroke why one would do that mod would probably depend on where you want the clutch to...

Don't want to derail this thread so some pics at an angle to show depth or protrusion of the shaft and the space around the shaft would be great thks

Henry would it be possible to take a pic of where the intermediate shaft exits the casing on the gearbox side please as I have an idea to seal the shaft exit and need to see if it is proud and how much space is around the edge of the shaft to attach my "plaster " idea thks
