Key will not turn in ignition

Have you got a spare key? silicon spray is normally better for locks than oil, have you tried rocking s/wheel as you try and turn key, A very light tap on the end of the key with hammer might help free it, good luck

    Disco 3 2.7 tdv6 wont start 😬

It is easy to go off at all sorts of angles you must remember that it was going along the road and died this is not going to be a tired battery, (this maybe another problem) when I was working on my van I disconnected a injector (with everything off) and used a volt meter on 250v ac to see if...

these people had a problem with the crank shaft sensor after a rebuild on another video but can not find it, it was the disk on the flywheel, think if there is a problem with crank or cam shaft sensor it will not allow fuel to be injected, should be easy to find if you put it on scan tool and it...

Engine from s type Jag is cheapest option whole car can be got for 1 to 2k but still have a engine that could break the same some time down the road

Woke or just a eco idiot

That would make the car companies a lot more focus on car weight It would be great if you had a car with 400 mile range but from 4 batteries and you could run it with 1 2 3 or 4 batteries dependent on how far you are going and the other batteries could be at home acting as a sink for your solar...

    Engine rebuild/replace?

What would it take to fit the 2.7L engine? you can get a S type Jag for 2k with good engine and with the oil pump sorted seem to be a better option, but bet getting everything to talk to each other and work would be a pig

    Engine rebuild/replace?

It would be interesting to see how many that have been repaired fail again, the other thing is if they fail again was it down to the block or something that had been damaged the first time and not picked up on, I find it hard to believe if the new crank goes in and all turns as it should and all...

td4 Freelander poor starting and lack of power at low rpm

When I took it off there was a plastic cover over it which I though was part of the sensor but the pictures of the new ones do not show it so wander if I need to take that off and clean it, there was a lot of oil on it and think the plastic bit might be full of oil
