Well worth trying double push on the lock button on the fob, must be pressed twice in under three seconds, this switches off the motion sensors in the car. Mine was always randomly going off, and since doing the double press every time I lock it, it has not gone off once.

As it is songle stage it might not have the range of lift to get a flat axle high enough to put an inflated spare on, a block of wood to run the flat wheel onto before removal would give you the extra height.
