    L322 2003 L322 Suspension wierdness

It needs to be run on a laptop which means quick fault finding is a matter of getting the laptop out, plugging it all in, making sure the battery is charged etc etc....whereas the iCarsoft ( and the others) is powered from the OBD socket itself, and as such runs without the need for any...

    L322 2003 L322 Suspension wierdness

Its a Range Rover - you will need one..... I use the iCarsoft for day to day fault code reading and live data viewing.....it is about £140, but it can't do any setting changes or calibrations....so I use RSW Solutions All Comms for that and is about £220 or so depending on exchange rate from...

    l322 code p1260

I know on my old M57 powered E39 530d (Same engine)...at idle it was between 337 and 348 bar (ignore the 'm'): It needs to be over 200bar during cranking to start the engine.

    L322 2003 L322 Suspension wierdness

For a Fault COde Reader, iCarsoft is very good, but it doesn't so any calibrations or setting changes.... All Comms is very good for the price and co do various calibrations and setting changes.... IIDTool is very very good, but getting pricey.... Faultmate Extreme is the dogs danglies...but...

    Air suspension too high

My quote is from the All Comms diagnostics calibration procedure - I think the full-on Land Rover calibration does the same.... How the Snap-On stuff works and how it calibrates I don't know....sorry!

    L322 2003 L322 Suspension wierdness

If the suspension works normally and there are no warnings on the dash (other than the one that flashes up and goes again), all the ride heights work OK...then maybe diagnostics may not help because as far as the system is concerned, there is nowt wrong! The re-adjustment when coming to a stop...

Hi L322 Air suspension ride height fault

You will need diagnostics capable of carrying out the height sensor calibration function. A calibration is needed when a replacement height sensor is fitted. They are not calibrated devices and as such will all read different values at the same height, so the ECU needs to be told what the new...

    L322 Ride Height

Ahhhh....I didn't read the thread from the beginning....if it is already 2" above the normal off road height via a mechanical means, then you can offset the ECU datum by an amount to get it to electrical increase its height....how much further you can go I don't know.

Range Rover Classic - Is it worth it?

The rear cross memeber of the classics rots out more frequently and quicker then the Defender/90/110/Ninety/One Ten as it is enclosed in a mud/dirt/water trap....whereas the Defenders (et al) are more open, and are atleast for the most part able to dry out and/or be cleaned....the Classics are...

    L322 Ride Height

Have you ever jacked the car on the sills allowing the wheels to dangle? That is obviously full articulation.... The only thing with the L322 is that the ride heights are all based on a single datum height, the calibration height. The ECU then auto-calculates the correct ride heights from this...

RR td6 hse Seat help please!

Have you tried wiggling it (oh er misses)....if the rest of the functions work, then the PCB controller still works. Take a good look under the seat for any loose wires to the seat height motor as when you moved the seat around, it may have been loose, and the movement has loosened it to the...

    Stuff air suspension

Newer, stiffer rubber in the air bellows not allowing it to 'balloon' each time it hits a pump....if that makes sense.

L322 Totally Random Complete Electrical Shutdown....

Many thanks for the replies....I have monitored it for the last few days and so far no random shutdowns.....I have checked all the earth straps, headers and cables. The BCU connections are clean and secure, and with it not being a P38 it doesn't suffer from the usual fusebox delamination...

L322 Totally Random Complete Electrical Shutdown....

OK, now this one has me stumped at the moment.... On occasion, and with no rhyme nor reason, the car will just totally shutdown - like completely....no interior lights, no response from any electrical service at all, it is as if the battery is disconnected.... It can even happen when driving...

    Reset all Defect Codes - L322 2003

That does not reset EAS fault codes, engine fault codes, ABS fault codes....or anything of the sort.... You will need proper diagnostics to read faults and clear them out!

    Help me out please

Ahhhh..didn't realise it had been converted for use....then persevere, having had a disabled parent, I can fully appreciate the costs involved in vehicle conversion.
