    Disco 3 (LR3) Steering Angle Readings....Curious!

This one really is Dave - it is because I can't see what could be wrong considering I have tried replacement sensor and a replacement ABS module AND replacement wiring...so I can't fathom what could be wrong. As mentioned above, it could be the Steering Angle Sensor ruining the party - so I...

    Disco 3 (LR3) Steering Angle Readings....Curious!

Thanks for the document link - I have indeed read this one already - as can be seen in the video - I have run a new wiring pair form the sensor up to the ABS module and it still gives incorrect values on both the old Yaw sensor and the new one! And similarly if I swap the ABS module - it is the...

    Disco 3 (LR3) Steering Angle Readings....Curious!

It is shown in the video - Yaw Rate Sensor Circuit Fault and Lateral Accelerometer Circuit Fault Also, In a number of other systems 'Invalid Data Received From Vehicle Dynamics Module' which is the erroneous Yaw and Lateral Sensor Readings (which are also shown in the video).

    Disco 3 (LR3) Steering Angle Readings....Curious!

OK - my brain hurts now - how can I have the exact same fault with a replacement Yaw Sensor and a replacement ABS module - have run replacement wiring between the two, and no matter what combination of any of these, it is the exact same fault, and the exact same live data readings...

    ABS ECU trouble

Close..... Its on the inner wing just above the exhaust manifold where it gets too hot and goes bandy - the tiny little wires inside can get detached due to heat expansion (common on BMW 5'er and 7'er too).... The ABS Harness to the ECU can also suffer from moisture tracking up the loom and...

Found this also from a quick gooooooooooogle on the matter: With engine on but not started, switch to petrol then immediately switch back to LPG and hold the LPG button down until the lead goes yellow, then the car should start on LPG until next start cycle. IIRC that’s how the PRINS LPG...

    P38A 1999 Range Rover P38 4.6 Thor

One of my P38's had the Prins VSI and to force start on petrol it was with ignition on, hold down the LPG switchover button until it turned yellow (I think) then start the car this should force it to start on gas from memory....

Great to see you here Josh - we have been chatting in the youtube comments recent - I'm Ant btw.... These guys are a great resource and have helped me out no end. Refresh the brain - what year? If she starts, runs then dies, we could be taking fuel starvation for some reason.....are you able...

    Disco 3 (LR3) Steering Angle Readings....Curious!

Thanks for the awesome information above. I have checked the earth point and that is sound as a pound. Curious to see the system corroborates the steering angle with the Yaw and Lateral Sensors too.....I wonder if this is where part of my problem lies as I have Yaw and Lateral Circuit Faults...

    Thanks for the above - these are my results - they mean nothing to me - could you detail what results they should be? 6-14 = 59.8 ohms 3-11 = 62.2 ohms 6-4 = 2.4V 6-5= 2.4V 14-4 = 1.33V 14-5 = 1.33V Are these good, bad, indifferent?

I am sure you would notice them running!! Try unplugging it - the ECM should default to 80degC - the fans should run....if they don't run, then either the fans are kaput or power thereto is non-existant. BUT will this prove or disprove the ECT as an issue???....as if the fans are an unknown...

    Disco 3 (LR3) Steering Angle Readings....Curious!

Good evening 'Zoners.... We have a 2007 D3 GS - a few faults which I am working my way through....Vehicle Dynamics Module mostly (stupid thing!) One query I do have is a curious one. Steering Angle Readings..... According to ABS and the SAMS(?) readings when dead ahead they read 0deg...great...
